Ventsim is constantly being improved and updated.
Most updates are functional improvements driven by demands from users

Note that to download and use the latest update, you must have a currently valid maintenance period.
If updates are installed with an expired maintenance period, the program may not run in full mode, and the previous version will need to be installed.

Customisable airway profiles (from PRESET menu) - set your own shapes with automatic area and perimeter calculation. Airways drawn in true 3D shape according to defined profile.

Preset Airway types with defined size, profile and friction factors. Preset types can be selected from the EDIT box

Enhanced Vent Duct Builder with automatic leakage build (prototype)

Multi positional data - select data to display information at 4 locations along airway, or display an average along airway (bottom left of screen)

Improved heat simulation - additional options to divide airways by length in addition to the existing fixed minimum splits.

Additional Dynamic Contaminant simulation options (fixed time release, linear decay, logarithmic decay, explosive)

Exclude and hide airways (set airways from the EDIT box to be excluded from the simulation model without having to block off with seals or bulkheads) - great for old or future development that does not need to be simulated and / or displayed.

Support for SURPAC string (STR) files - Improved DXF importing options.

Linear Resistance changed to Resistance / 100m - existing models are converted automatically.

Improved Ventsim Classic file exporting.
